Create new assignments and assign them to the employees



There are several ways to create a new job in mobile field report:

  • using the action button in the menu bar, as you seen above (1)
  • form the job overview tab in the menu bar and then jobs (2)


In the menu bar you click the action button. After that you select new job to add a new job.
You can access the same input window by opening the order overview tab, selecting orders and clicking the new order button..


Edit the job template

In the input field you enter a reason for the input field (1). If you have already created templates for recurring orders, they are displayed i a selection menu. Choose appropriate one by mouse click.


You can add an order description, checklists and documents to your order (2).

To add checklists and documents you have to select the appropriate button on the right side of the screen. You select checklists or documents to be added using the text field. Afterwards you click on create or add. (2a)
You can describe your tasks in the text field.
When using an order template this information is automatically added to the order.


Now, you add a site to the job, the service object.To do this you have to select the button with + description service object.
A dialog box for entering the service objects will be open. If you enter a name here, you can select an object in the selection menu (3).
Mobile field report has automatically added the associated customer to you.

The most relevant job data now entered. Afterwards you click create.

Scheduling jobs



There are two options for scheduling jobs and assigning them to a service employee:

  • Using the +-button in the data section (1).
  • Using the scheduler button in the data section (2).



Using the +-button

First you enter the data and time for the order start. Then you enter the data and time for the scheduled end. Following you enter the name of the desired employee into the free text field.
Here you select the employee from the opening window with the mouse click.
If you do not want a message to be sent to the people involved, you have to remove the checkmark.
Finally you click the create & notify button. Your order is now scheduled and assigned.

The scheduling

To the left of the card you select your job. Now you hold down the left mouse button and drag it to the required employee in the desired time window (drag & drop).


A dialog box will open. You can adjust the date, time and add additional employees by entering and selecting them if necessary.
If you do not want a message to be sent to the people involved you have to remove the checkmark.
Finally you click the create and notify-button. Your order is now scheduled and assigned.

You can find your order at any time in the order overview, select, edit and monitor the status of processing by mouse click.


Enter additional order details


Internal night direction Yo can provide your employees with important information about order or customers that are either not intended for the customer or are not allowed to appear on the service report with internal messages. Therefore you have to select the internal message tab of the menu bar of your order. At least you click the add comment button.

Type your comment in the text box that opens and than you click add. Note that internal comments can not be edited any more.


Cost center / project number



You can assign orders directly to specific projects via the field cost center / project number. This enables you to evaluate your orders project specifically. To do this you select the information tab of the menu bar of your order. Now you enter the appropriate values in the text field cost center / project number. In the selection menu you can only select approved cost centers or project numbers. Finally you save your input.
